I HATE it when a customer wants something we can’t do and the cashier tells them that. But, that’s not good enough. They want to speak to a manager. So, I climb down off the 10 foot ladder I am on, put down the 10 boxes I am carrying, walk ALL the way from the back room to the front of the store only to say, “No, sir. She was right. We can’t do that.” Duh!
Or the ones who walk into the store and ask for a manager. Again, stop everything I’m doing, go all the way up front and what they wanted was something simple, like a return, that the cashier could have done. (Not blaming the cashier. She didn’t know. She did the right thing by calling me when they asked for a manager.)
