So I work at a extreme sports amusement park . Everyone who comes in has to sign a liability waiver so that way the company doesn’t get sued if the customer hurts him or herself while on our equipment . When I got hired, I’ve read through the waiver and there’s two things that I didn’t like . It was the age and the part where it says that TV stations like Fox News can photograph you. But other than that I didn’t see a problem with anything. So after I started working there , a lot of customers complain about oh how it’s private information and shit and that they don’t want to sign it. The waiver asks for to address, DOB, phone and that’s it . The insurance company needs to contact them in case if they do get hurt . It’s pretty plain and simple and we have so any dumb assholes that complain and say shit like ” oh what if a bad guy break in to your storage and steals my information and indenting theft me , blah blah blah blah blah !! ” Bitch, your address is PUBLIC RECORD, your age is PUBLIC record, DOB is also public record!everything that we ask is ALREADY public on the Internet. If I google your first and last name, or just your first name and state in some cases. I can dig up all of your personal information there, It is more likely for a criminal to find your information on mylife.com or google than it is at a fucking amusement park. I have looked at other similar places and they all asks for the same thing, especially gyms. If you don’t want to put down your info incase you fuck yourself then get the fuck out, quit whining.
