A woman walked in with her husband. I told them to “please wait a moment” because I’m still struggling to get the ketchup packets out for other customers. They ignore me completely and starts rapping (yes “rapping”) Their orders like Eminem. They must’ve ordered 20 or so set meals, adding more orders after they’re done. I got up from getting ketchup, stared at them in bewilderment.
I couldn’t remember what they ordered at all. My mind’s a mess.
So I apologized and asked them to repeat again. They sighed for the whole restaurant to hear, rolled their eyes and start ordering again. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they didn’t talk so fast and kept changing their orders here and there. I was glad after we were finally done ordering, but then the wife suddenly shout in a very irritated tone:
“I said THREE packets of sugar!! You only gave me TWO!!”
I still had other customers to tend to, they were also getting irritated from waiting. I turned and saw the wife glaring at me.
Automatically, I ducked back down to get the sugar packet. Straightened up and then threw the packet at her. It hit the food tray square on, but needless to say the wife was still pissed at me for throwing it. She called the manager and starts ranting, saying I was giving her bad attitude for no reason.
customers, please. If you are rude to us, don’t expect us to take it all in like we’re robots. We’re humans too, we have our limits. As for the wife, You’re lucky I chickened out at the last minute and threw it at the tray instead of right into your big flapping mouth.
