I had a client come into my portrait studio who didn’t speak English. I took their photo’s and they had their 14 year old translate everything I was telling him about the packages during the sale. They agreed on a $500 package and I rang them up. Two weeks later, after they had already received their pictures this lady comes back in with another woman to translate. They told me they were HORRIBLE pictures and they hated them and wanted a refund. NOW, she signed paperwork explaining since this is a custom order and I can’t resell her ugly mug to someone else, we have a NO REFUND policy, her 14 year old explained that to her the day of her session, ALSO they loved the pictures the day they saw them and nothing changed on the day they got the prints back, they were also missing half of the order! The lady translating screamed at me and said this is all my fault because I don’t speak Spanish. EXCUSE ME! If I moved to Mexico I would make damn sure I spoke Spanish, or I would have someone translating who was NOT A CHILD. Anyways, after them screaming at me in English and talking crap about me in Spanish (I heard bitch in there) because I refused to refund any money they stormed out. Good riddance. Go to Chiquita’s glamour shots, or the swap meet, PLEASE.
